Poem for Adele


Spring
The earth springs to life, plants bursting forward
The thrusting of life comes through in the garden

As I walk past the tulips my heart hums with joy
Filling the empty reservoir of my soul

Tomorrow may be a different day
But for now…
I rest in this perfect moment

As the earth springs to life.
